WINNERS
On Saturday, April 25, talented professional and amateur artists, families, and children came together to celebrate Mother Earth and transform the streets of Reston Town Square Park into an outdoor vibrant art gallery!
There was also free face painting, art exhibits at Tephra ICA, activities at the RCC on Wheels van, as well as music and poetry.
The community was also invited to participate in a new project by South Lakes High School STEAM Team students, where they painted pieces of fabric to create a large, colorful quilt.
A special thanks to Poet Laureate Angelique Palmer, who shared her poetry and delighted us with one of her acclaimed pieces, and to the talented musicians from Project Locrea and the Juan Megna Group, who made the day even more fun!
