Fountain is a concrete structure housed on the plaza of the Reston International Center on Sunrise Valley Drive. Although the exact architects are unknown, Fountain is believed to have been designed in 1973 by local LBC & W landscape architects who were also building the International Center, the Sheraton Hotel, and the plaza sitting between the two buildings. Although Fountain is currently inoperable as its base is being used as a planter, the original concrete elements are still intact and have the ability to be restored to the function of its namesake.
