Midtown Community Mural

Dana Ann Scheurer

2013  |  Keim paint on concrete

The Midtown Community Mural was designed as a “Welcoming Wall” on New Dominion Parkway.  The cheerful and colorful mural, which includes images of art and architecture of Reston Town Center’s north-west corridor, was designed and drawn by Reston artist, Dana Scheurer. The centerpiece of the mural features a life-sized image of Reston’s founder, Robert E. Simon, operating a camera, and presents an interactive photo-opportunity for neighbors, passers-by and tourists to Reston Town Center.  The Mural was painted by Bryan King of Artifice, Inc.
